I never knew I'd be this busy being unemployed. I started working with a small caterer in Alexandria and it's keeping super busy. Last week was gone in the blink of an eye. It's a lot harder than I expected, but I'm loving it. You're on your feet a lot and always watching the clock for when the next party starts.
I roped my husband into working an event with me tonight. It should be quite an adventure. On Thursday, I might need to bartend...HA, HA, HA! I have no clue how to mix a drink, except maybe a margarita. I guess I'll error on the side of too strong, then they'll be too plastered to come back and get another drink from me.
Sorry for the boring post...just a whole lot of busy and not a lot of time for crafting. Strange how things work out.
(But! Kauai in less than two weeks...this girl needs a tan!)
