Hard Knock Life

Elvis had to take quite a dog nap with all the hard work he has been doing on the house. There's no where to sleep, so this as good as it's going to get. Having dogs on the job site makes it very interesting. Right before you're about to pull out a nail, a big white head jumps in your way. Have you ever tried to move an 75 lb bully? It's not that easy.
In my last post I mentioned wanting a support group for us home improvement nut balls. Well, I stumbled upon a cool blog last night while searching Google for "removing paint from old radiators." Sounds exciting, huh?
The site, House in Progress, is a diary of a couple's renovation of their Chicago bungalow. I logged a good hour on their site just reading about all of their current and past projects. I admire people who take on the DIY approach. As much as I get frustrated with all of the moving parts going on right now in our house, I have to remember what a great learning experience this is, and will be....ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha.
I also stumbled across this the other day while researching kitchen appliances. Anyone interested? His wine cellar can only hold 3,500 bottles of wine. C'mon! how can they even think that would be a great selling point? (ok, yes, if you don't know me well enough, that is my general flare of sarcasm.)
